Elopement wedding in Chantilly

This elopement wedding in Chantilly, France, was held at Maison de Sylvie. The venue has an interesting history: it was converted in the early 17th century to make it a place of pleasure, nicknamed “Sylvie” (forest nymph) by Théophile de Viau, in memory of the Duchess of Montmorency, wife of Henry II. de Montmorency. At this wedding, the French art of living gained a Brazilian accent because, in Paris, you can also find “bem-casados”, “brigadeiros” and cakes with Brazilian flavors.
